• Embedded operating systems ranging from the simple (foreground / background) to the complicated (RTOS).
• Host software, running under both WIN16 and WIN32 operating systems written in C++ and Anagram for a multitude of factory automation tools.
• Application program written in Delta Tau's PMAC native code provides four independent asynchronous laser interferometer-compatible servo control environments using one PMAC. Labwindows host program provides extensive control, status and servo tuning functionality.
• DSP firmware to measure the frequency response of a servo system and to find not only the amplitude and frequency response, but also to locate resonances in the mechanics. The DSP firmware measures the vibrations in the system due to spindle electro-mechanical characteristics. The host program imports data from the DSP firmware and then calculates how far off-balance the spindle is and suggests how many turns to rotate a balancing screw on the spindle.
• Embedded software architecture, DSP algorithm development and integration for a DSP-based cryogenic motor controller.
