Examples of RF design experience

• Application of EMI, RFI reduction techniques to achieve a signal path with sub nanovolt / root Hz noise performance in electromechanical disk drive head test system.
• 5kW RF power generator with output frequency of 13.56 MHz for use in RF sputtering systems.  Final stage tuned amplifier uses high-gain triode vacuum tube in grounded grid class AB2 configuration.  Distortion products are >40dB down.  Plate supply uses 3 phase transformer with soft start circuit and produces 7000 V at 1.5 A.
